      Some residents say they no longer feel safe on streets

      After a recent hip-hop event at a West Front Street club erupted into a street brawl involving several hundred people, the club owner has agreed to a change in music programming. Red Bank Mayor Pasquale Menna said the owner of Chubby's Waterside Café, where the Oct. 13 melee took place, agreed to a borough sanctioned ban on hip-hop concerts. More...

      Ordinance would give police the right to enter a private home

      TINTON FALLS - The Borough Council will continue to workshop two ordinances involving the consumption and purchase of alcohol by underage persons at the November or early December council meetings.       Alfred E. Pound Mr. Pound, 88, of Little Silver, died Oct. 11, 2007. He was a partner and co-owner of Lectro Product Inc., Englishtown. He served with the U.S. Air Force in the Pacific theater during World War II.
