      Red Bank Regional off to slow start on the ice

            The Ocean Township girls swim team has been among the Shore's elite programs for a number of years. The Ocean boys team, meanwhile, has been a budding power over the past few seasons, elevating itself to one of the state's very best squads last year.

      Sports Shorts
            Junior midfielder Kate Corr (Shrewsbury/ Red Bank Regional) completed a solid junior season as a member of the Washington and Lee women's soccer team this fall. Corr played in 19 contests with eight starts in 2007. She totaled five goals, including three game-winning scores, and three assists.
