      Lisa Christman lives a dog lover's ideal life. As the lead trainer and handler for the New York-based All Creatures Great and Small animal advertising agency, she not only takes her dogs to work with her, they often get paid for the day.

Exhibit connects the arts
      'Art for the Arts" opened Saturday at Laurel Tracey Gallery in Red Bank.Works by four painters are included in the show: Lucy Kalian, Evelyn Leavens, Scott Redden and Jon Peters. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Two River Theater in Red Bank.

      An exhibit of paintings by Dr. Charles Sills is currently at the Oceanic Library in Rumson. Small works by fiber artist Beverly Hertler, Red Bank, are in the library display case. Hertler is a fiber artist who exhibits nationally in juried fine art, fine crafts and quilt shows.
