Obituaries Albert L. Runge Mr. Runge, 72, of Middletown, died Feb. 12, 2007, at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, New Brunswick. Born in New York City, he resided in Highlands prior to relocating to Middletown 45 years ago. He was a retired landscaper for Garden State Parkway where he was employed several years. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict, attaining the rank of Corporal. He was predeceased by a sister, Ethel Runge. He is survived by his wife, Linda Runge; two daughters and one son-in-law, Lora Runge of Keyport, and Ginger and Dan Hatton of Tinton Falls; a son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Jennifer Runge of the Belford section of Middletown; a sister, Irene Mahoney of Staten Island, N.Y.; a brother, Henry Runge of Toms River; and four grandchildren. A funeral service will be Feb. 16 at 11 a.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church, Keyport. Entombment will follow at Fair View Mausoleum, Middletown. Arrangements are by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
Fred J. Houben Mr. Houben, 77, of Brick, died Feb. 11, 2007, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. He was a security guard at Marion Security, Red Bank. He enjoyed sports, and the water. He was predeceased by his wife, Sophia in 2000; a stepson, John McLaughlin; and two sisters, Marie Van Brunt and Joan Van Bokkem. He is survived by two stepsons and their wives, Charles and Louann of West Caldwell, and Kenneth and Patty McLaughlin of Toms River; two stepdaughters, Diane McLaughlin of South Palm Beach, Fla., and Alice and Victor Serafin of East Newark; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Patricia and Ginus Giard of Virginia, Barbara Theyn of Atlantic Highlands, Carol and Salvatore DeStasio of Tinton Falls, and Johanna and Chris Kjesbu of Rumson; and several nieces and nephews. John Randall "Randy" Boulton Mr. Boulton, 48, of Sayreville, died Jan. 29, 2007, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Huntington, W. Va., he resided in Sayreville the past 22 years. He was a self-employed painting contractor and owner of B & W Painting the past 15 years. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories Roman Catholic Church, Sayreville. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Andrea Giammarinaro; his children, triplets John Joseph, Nicholas Nathaniel and Mary Ann Marie, and Randall James, all at home; his mother, Mary Ann Wolf of Manalapan; two brothers, David Boulton of Parlin, and Greg Wolf of Red Bank; and a sister, Virginia Brody of North Caldwell. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Our Lady of Victories Church. Entombment was at St. John's Cloister at St. John's Cemetery, Queens, N.Y. Arrangements were by Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin.
Robert L. Hayden Mr. Hayden, 69, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., died Feb. 8, 2007, at home. Born in Long Island, N.Y., he resided in Oceanport prior to relocating to Port St. Lucie 1 1/2 years ago. He was co-owner of T&T Audio, Sea Bright, and the owner and operator of Hayco Inc., Oceanport. Prior to that, he was employed at New Jersey Bell. He was a former Captain of the Long Branch Fire Department, secretary of Oceanport Lions Club, and member of Oceanport Fire Police. He was also a certified observer for the National Game Fish Association. He enjoyed fishing, boating and woodworking. He was predeceased by a sister, Betty Ann Fritz. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Jennie Cirigliano Hayden; three daughter, Mary Hayden, Jane Hayden and Laura Hayden, all of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and two sons, Bruce Hayden of Howell, and Keith Hayden of Piscataway. A funeral liturgy was held at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, West End section of Long Branch. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. Shirley "Lee" Moore LeValley Mrs. LeValley, 72, of Shrewsbury, died Feb. 9, 2007, at Riverview Medical Center Red Bank. Born in Long Beach, Calif., she relocated to New Jersey at a young age, and resided in Shrewsbury for 46 years. She was a registered nurse, employed as a home health care nurse, retiring in 1999. Prior to that, she was employed at the office of Drs. Cureton, Acerra and Rothenberg, Shrewsbury, and Drs. Albert J. Kolarsick and Charles F. Paterno, Red Bank. She was a 46-year member of United Methodist Church, Red Bank. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert; three daughters and sons-in-law, Melodie and Russell Kerber of Burlington, Ky., and Laura and John Van Velthoven, and Suzanne and Thomas Sutton, all of Shrewsbury; and four grandchildren. A funeral service was held at United Methodist Church. Interment was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.
