Woman's Club of Little Silver to meet Oct. 4

The Woman's Club of Little Silver, 111 Church St., will hold its next business meeting Oct. 4 at 7 p.m.

The club will hold a yard and bake sale Oct. 20 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (rain date Oct. 27). The event will feature household items, clothing, toys and jewelry.

Members are now selling 50/50 raffle books for $2 each or $10 for a book of five. Proceeds will go toward purchasing telephone cards for the wounded soldiers of New Jersey. Members are also still collecting canceled stamps and old costume jewelry to be converted to charity funds.
