Iraqi people have right to be free
This is a reply to James Crawford, who disputed Lillian McCoy's letter concerning the Iraq war.

I had an uncle who was killed defending our country in World War II from national leaders who would butcher innocent people in death camps.

I have a daughter who served in the Air Force in Iraq ... who saw the rape factories and the torture chambers, who along with the vast majority of committed servicemen and women despised everything that Sadam Hussein and his demented sons stood for.

Are you saying that it was all right to fight for the freedom of the people who were downtrodden back in the 1930s and 1940s, but not those who want to live free today? My daughter has told me stories that would curl your hair.

People have suffered mightily over there, but I guess that doesn't matter to you, does it?
