The Red Bank Parks & Recreation Department is co-hosting an 8-on-8 co-ed dodge ball league to begin Nov. 13. We will play 8-on-8 with a maximum of five males and three females to start the game. Games will be played on Tuesday nights at the Red Bank Middle School. Games will be played between 7:15 and 10 p.m. for approximately nine weeks. Players can sign up as individuals or as a team. The emphasis is on having fun, and all co-ed rules will be explained before the first game. The cost is $55 for Red Bank residents and $75 for nonresidents. The Monmouth University Sports Hall of Fame has announced the inductees chosen as members of the newly constituted Sports Hall of Fame. The distinguished class of 2007 includes a member of the Class of 1976, Wendy Boglioli (swimming); Edward Halicki '74 (baseball and basketball); James LaRusso '70 (baseball); Christie Pearce-Rampone '99 (soccer); Richard Steadman (coach/swimming, diving, water polo); and Abe Schwartz (administration/ coaching). Boglioli and Pearce-Rampone are both Olympic medal winners. Television anchor Jack Ford will be the master of ceremonies for the evening.

The Hall of Fame Selection Committee solicited alumni and the general public for the names of eligible nominees.
