ANDREW MILLER staff Jeff Gulley, of the U.S. Military Academy Preparatory School at Fort Monmouth, plays a bugle call during the annual Veterans Day ceremony held at the World War II memorial at Greely Field on the fort grounds in Oceanport Nov. 8.
ANDREW MILLER staff Kevin O'Loughlin, 22, of the U.S. Military Academy Preparatory School at Fort Monmouth, stands at attention with fellow firing party members Nov. 8 during Veterans Day ceremonies held at the World War II Memorial on Greely Field as part of Fort Monmouth's 90th anniversary celebration. The weeklong celebration began with the annual Veterans Day ceremony at which the commandant of West Point, Brig. Gen. Robert L. Caslen Jr., was guest speaker. The celebration also included civilian and military displays, historical military re-enactors from the American Revolution to the present day, a variety of musical acts, children's rides, skydiving demonstrations, a classic car show and a fireworks display.
