      Robert Gear Spencer
            Mr. Spencer, 78, of Tinton Falls, died Jan. 7, 2008, at Care One at King James, Navesink section of Middletown. He was born in Newark, Ohio. He was a computer programmer at IBM, retiring in 1994. Prior to that, he taught vocal music and directed musical shows for 20 years for groups such as the Men of Note and the Choralettes, and Red Bank High School, Red Bank.

            Mr. Storch, 94, of Shrewsbury, died in January 2008 at RiverviewMedical Center, Red Bank. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., he resided in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., as well as Shrewsbury. He was a retired flavor technologist and entrepreneur in the United States and Canada, responsible for creating the mint formula for Girl Scout thin mint cookies.

            Mrs. Lawes, 93, of Tinton Falls, died Jan. 7, 2008. She was a member of the Reformed Church of Tinton Falls, and the church's Women's Guild. She was also a member of the Tinton Falls Senior citizens. She was predeceased by her husband, Cyril T. Lawes in 1992.

      The Rev. Foster "Skip" Wilson
            Rev. Wilson, 77, of Red Bank, died Jan. 9, 2008, at home. He was born in Williamsport, Pa. He was pastor emeritus at Rumson Presbyterian Church from 1970 until retiring in 1997. During retirement, he was the chaplain at RiverviewMedical Center, Red Bank. Prior to that, he was the reverent at various First Presbyterian Churches in Pennsylvania for several years.
