"Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt on Stage Together" will come to the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 8 p.m. Two of the best singer/songwriters today join forces for an evening of solo acoustic song. OnFriday,Feb. 22,master folk-blues-roots musician David Bromberg will reunite his 11-piece David Bromberg Big Band, capable of playing just about every form of American music, particularly folk, blues, bluegrass and jazz, to perform at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank.Opening the bill will be Angel Band, a trio that includes his wife, Nancy Josephson. The Art Society of Monmouth County meets Feb. 20 at the Monmouth Beach Cultural Center, 128 Ocean Ave. Everyone interested in art is welcome. A social half-hour with refreshments begins at 10:30 a.m. At 11 a.m., Long Branch artist TonyMigliacciowill give a demonstration on landscape painting. "Lorena Hickok & Eleanor Roosevelt: ALove Story" written by Pat Bond and performed byMarjorieConnwill be presented Feb. 14 and 15 at 7 p.m. and Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. at the Stephen Crane House, 508 Fourth Avenue in Asbury Park. The play chronicles the 30-year relationship between the First Lady and the acclaimed woman journalist, documented in letters written by Roosevelt to her "beloved Hick."
