'K.C.' was one of a kind
      Just wanted to thank The Hub/Greater Media for writing such a nice story on the passing of Katherine "K.C." Couslar. She was one of those unsung heroes here in Red Bank taking care of and helping to feed our town's less fortunate through all her great work at Lunch Break.

Toll avoidance scheme wouldn't work
      Aletter on Feb. 14 suggests that tolls on the turnpike and parkway can be avoided if drivers traveling in opposite directions exchange E-ZPass transponders at a point between each of their entry and exit points. Aside from whether the scheme is legal, the scheme will not work given the way the turnpike and parkway are configured.

Real reform, not flimflam tactics, needed in N.J.
      We need real solutions to our financial problems in this state, not smoke and mirrors. The governor's idea of borrowing money against our toll roads and developing two corporations run by cronies receiving huge salaries and perks is not a solution but a get-rich-quick scheme for some where the taxpayers of this state are the dupes.
