Boys and girls finals scheduled for Saturday night

      This year's Shore Conference Basketball Tournament certainly has its share of local flavor. With a pair of local girls teams advancing to the semifinals, along with one local boys team, local high school hoops fans may very well have someone to cheer for once again during Saturday's boys and girls finals a the Ritacco Center in Toms River.

      It's been a week now since Roger Clemens sat before members of Congress to plead his innocence in the face of Brian McNamee's accusations that he injected the baseball great with steroids. And while the five-hour congressional hearing did little to bring an end to the matter, the buzz surrounding the event continues to linger.
