      Citizens' group seeks inquiry into 'Swapgate'
            On Friday, Jan. 25, the Citizens for Rational Coastal Development filed an Injunction before the N.J. Appellate Court regarding the diversion and sale of properties to the N.J. Department of Transportation which the state needed to begin construction of the 73 foot span mega-bridge over the Shrewsbury River.

      Write more tickets to enforce rules of the road
            Arecent article in the paper stated that a local police chief criticized his officers for only writing about 40 tickets per officer per year. That equates to less then one ticket per week. The chief was criticized and complaints that this is trying to enforce a quota system of issuing tickets was expressed.
