      Red Bank Catholic (wearing the bib with the letter O) was one of only 15 schools in the nation to be invited to run in the High School Girls' Distance Medley Championship of America race at the Penn Relays on April 24. The Caseys finished 14th in a time of 12:31.07.

      Erison Hurtault's day is built around running fast. The Matawan High School grad is now a professional runner and all he is focused on is the U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore. (June 27-July 6) with the goal of reaching the Beijing Olympics in China.

      Two-time Rutgers All-America running back Ray Rice was selected in the second round of the 2008 NFLDraft by the Baltimore Ravens. The nation's second-leading rusher in 2007, Rice rushed for 2,012 yards and scored 25 touchdowns in 2007 to help lead Rutgers to its third straight bowl and second consecutive bowl victory.
