      Mrs. Hermida, 84, formerly Fair Haven, died June 1, 2008, at Tower Lodge Care Center, Wall. She was a retired employee of the food stamp program in the Morris County Welfare Department, Morristown. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Thomas M. Hermida; two brothers, Joseph and Jack Grady; a sister, Joan Grady; and a grandson, Jeffrey Hermida.

      Mrs. Bennett, 89, of Tinton Falls, died May 21, 2008. She resided in Freehold prior to relocating to Seabrook Village in Tinton Falls.       Mr. Hembling, 90, of Rumson, died May 29, 2008. He was the retired manager of Charles B. Hembling & Son, Shrewsbury, which he took over in 1946. Prior to that, he was employed at Bendix and Eastern Airlines. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Margaret Throckmorton Hembling; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna H. and Pete Fogle of Lancaster, Pa., and Elizabeth H.

      Mr. Martinez, 83, of Red Bank, died June 2, 2008, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was a retired employee at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown. He was a life member of Red Bank Fire Department at Liberty Hose Company, and 50-year member of Red Bank First Aid Squad. He was predeceased by a grandson, Stephen La Costa, in 2001.

      Mr. McCormick, 79, of the Adelphia section of Howell, died May 25, 2008, at Care- One in Jackson. He grew up in Red Bank and lived in Tinton Falls and Wayside, Ocean Township, before moving to Howell. Mr. Mc- Cormick served in the U.S. Navy and the Merchant Marines.
