Sandy Hook Unit superintendent retires
      Richard Wells, superintendent at the Sandy Hook Unit of the Gateway National Recreation Area, has retired after a 32-year career with the National Park Service (NPS). He began his career at the Denver Service Center, working on projects such as local projects at the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, and the Statue of Liberty National Monument and Ellis Island.

Registration for BCC classes begins June 26
      Brookdale Community College (BCC) has announced it will offer Friday evening, Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon classes at its Long Branch Higher Education Center, 213 Broadway, and 765 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft section of Middletown. Express registration will be from 11 a.m.-6:30 p.m. June 26, July 23 and Aug. 13.
