            If you were to believe the oil industry and their congressional cronies, all we'd have to do to lower prices at the pump is to open up the Atlantic and Pacific coasts to drilling. It is a cruel hoax.

      Bridge construction is a tragedy waiting to happen
            With the north-side sidewalk across the bridge now closed, the ped/bike pathway to the beach from the north-side sidewalk of the highway now consists of a sign directing people to go down the hill, under the bridge (where they are chopping away concrete above your head!

      Green makes green
            Gov. Jon Corzine says he wants to see more green in New Jersey, the kind that grows on trees and absorbs harmful carbon from the air. To do that, the state needs more of the other kind of green to pay off our state's massive $32 billion debt.
