It is wonderfully refreshing to have a person like John Curley running for Monmouth County freeholder. He brings to the area of public service those very qualities that are so highly prized and so much needed in today's government.

John responds to the people and is one of the people. Over the course of the many years he has been a neighbor and a fellow Red Bank resident, I have seen him display over and over again the qualities of honesty, responsibility, integrity, dedication to the public good, and competence. The times that he has gone the extra mile to talk with and help the residents of our neighborhood and town are so many that they are uncountable. John has gone door to door countless times to speak with people, to understand their concerns and to help solve problems wherever it is possible. I don't believe anyone has ever called John Curley about a concern and not gotten a response from him.

I and everyone else who knows him know he would be the same good, responsible, hardworking public servant on the county level that he is on the local level. We could use more people like John Curley in government.
