Italian American Assoc. plans July trip to Italy
      The Italian American Association of Monmouth County is sponsoring a 10-day trip to Italy, beginning July 21. The cost of the trip includes airfare, hotel, two meals per day and all entrance fees. All are welcome to attend. For details and reservations, call 732- 972-5651.

Monmouth University computer camps offered
      Monmouth University, West Long Branch, has announced it will offer two sessions of summer computer camp for students directed by Shauna L. Schubiger. A camp for students ages 14-17 interested in learning how to make a Web site or a movie using a digital video camera will be held July 14-18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost is $630 and includes lunch.

Bayonet Farm summer classes to begin July 12
      Bayonet Farm, 41 Middletown Road, Holmdel, will offer classes this summer from July 12-Aug. 23. FUNdamentals of Sculpture will allow children to work with various materials to create a range of sculptural objects. The Young Scientists class will explore scientific concepts through children's literature and hands-on activities.

ALS Family Night resumes July 8 at Hook
      The American Littoral Society (ALS) will resume Family Night at Sandy Hook 6-8 p.m. July 8 at the ALS facility at Sandy Hook. Family Night is held every Tuesday evening through Aug. 19.

      The Unlimited Theater Company (UPTCo) of New Brunswick, a project of VSA arts of New Jersey (VSA/NJ), is seeking poems, essays, short stories and plays for the 15th annual Joyce Indik New Jersey Wordsmith Competition. Residents of New Jersey who are 18 years of age or over are eligible.
