The Unlimited Theater Company (UPTCo) of New Brunswick, a project of VSA arts of New Jersey (VSA/NJ), is seeking poems, essays, short stories and plays for the 15th annual Joyce Indik New Jersey Wordsmith Competition.

Residents of New Jersey who are 18 years of age or over are eligible. The contest is open to all writers, and submissions by writers with disabilities are also encouraged. The New Jersey Reader's Theater will select the works to be showcased. There will be a reading held in late fall. The deadline for submissions is Sept. 3. There is a $15 entry fee.
