Facts about oil crisis are opinion, and deceitful spin
Iread the opinion by Cindy Zipf of Clean Ocean Action, and her facts just don't line up. What this organization claims to be factual is simply opinion. They offer no proof that the U.S. is exporting a half billion barrels of crude overseas. Further, they are trying to thwart energy companies from delivering less, not more expensive natural gas to the people of New York/New Jersey.
So if big oil and gas were really all about profits then they would not want to increase domestic supply, thereby keeping prices high. These people cannot have it both ways. They cannot accuse oil/gas companies of gouging and at the same time preventing exploration. If there is any deceitful spin it is on Cindy Zipf and Clean Ocean Action.
