      Freehold Soil Conservation District is sponsoring a photo contest for those who can capture subjects that promote the beauty and uniqueness of the natural environments found in Middlesex and Monmouth counties. Wildlife, landscapes, natural resources, agriculture, people interacting with the environment, waterscapes, etc., are all suitable subjects.

Bayonet Farm summer classes to begin July 12
      Bayonet Farm, 41 Middletown Road, Holmdel, will offer classes this summer from July 12-Aug. 23. FUNdamentals of Sculpture will allow children to work with various materials to create a range of sculptural objects. The Young Scientists class will explore scientific concepts through children's literature and hands-on activities.
