The Shrewsbury First Aid Squad announced its two award recipients as well as the mailing of the annual fund drive letter in a June 12 press release. Sarah Cottenoff, who recently graduated from Red Bank Regional High School is the recipient of the Tommy Maletto Award. The award is given each year to a Shrewsbury Borough resident graduating from Red Bank Regional High School based on an essay about how the graduate fulfills a deep commitment to community service. This award is given in memory of Maletto, a charter and founding member of the Shrewsbury First Aid Squad who had a deep commitment to helping others. I n addition to the awards, the First Aid Squad announced the mailing of the annual fund drive letter. Along with the letter, residents will receive a chart that can be used to list all medications currently being taken. Residents are encouraged to keep this chart updated and in a handy location.
