Robert Field Palmer
      Mr. Palmer, 89, of Fair Haven, died July 10, 2008. He was the retired manager of Project Coed, Newark. Prior to that, he was employed as Director of Public Information for the New Jersey Department of Education, and education editor and a reporter at the Newark Evening News. He was predeceased by his wife, Eleanore Mortenson Palmer.

Rita Mulroy Chamberlain
      Mrs. Chamberlain, 92, of North Andover, Mass., and formerly Rumson, and Tequesta, Fla., died June 14, 2008, at Edgewood Retirement Community, North Andover. She was predeceased by her husband, Melville P. Chamberlain Jr., in 1986; and two sisters, Marcie Hanning and Alicia Hamburg.
