Monmouth Park Charity Ball slated for Aug. 9
      The annual Monmouth Park Charity Ball will be held at 7 p.m. Aug. 9 at Deal Golf and Country Club. Honorees will be Richard W. Hogan, Kenneth Rocky and Chris Ruisi for outstanding commitment to the community. The event will feature a cocktail hour, dinner and dancing to the music by the Stephen Berger Orchestra.

Hearts of Remembrance Aug. 9 in Rumson
      Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey Hospice will hold its fourth annual Hearts of Remembrance Children's Day: A Celebration of Life 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 9 at a location in Rumson. The free grief support camp is open to children age 6-12 who have experienced the death of a loved one within the past year.
