      The Historical Society of Ocean Grove will host the 19th annual Ocean Grove Summer Postcards, Antiques, Collectibles & Jersey Shore Memorabilia Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Auditorium Pavilion and surrounding grounds, directly across from the Great Auditorium. Admission is free to the popular summer event, which supports the programs and research projects of the historical society. More than 50 dealers will participate.       Market in the Middle, 516 Asbury Ave., Asbury Park, along with the Monmouth County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Eatontown, and Asbury Rockin' Cats will present a Paws For Life fundraiser and gallery opening Aug. 16. The fundraiser will begin at 4 p.m. with a doggy fashion show at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park. Festivities then move to Market in the Middle for the opening of Joyce Stolaroff 's "Paws For Life" art exhibit. Wine, cheese and tapas will be served.       The Count Basie Theatre's Cool School will sponsor a special Rockit for Kids concert to benefit the Red Bank Middle School Music Programs 7:30 p.m. Aug. 23. Due to theater renovations, the concert will be at Red Bank Regional High School, 101 Ridge Road, Little Silver. The school helps young musicians learn and grow through teamwork, cooperation and good rehearsal and performance technique. Tickets are $15.       Oceanport United Methodist Church's peach festival and hamburger and hotdog dinner will be held 5-7 p.m. Aug. 20 at the church, 50 Main St. Cost for the festival is $4, and $2 for children younger than age 12.       Red Bank Chapter of Deborah Hospital Foundation is sponsoring a bus trip to Trump's Taj Mahal Casino Hotel, Atlantic City, 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 21.       The Historical Society of Ocean Grove will host an Illumination Garden Party & Tour 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22. The event honors and thanks the individuals who generously support the society's efforts at Centennial Cottage. At the garden party, the use of paper lanterns under the tent and porch roofs provide for a beautiful setting. Light refreshments are served. The party and tour are open to the public.
