John Gibson
      Mr. Gibson, 73, of Shavington Cheshire, England, died Aug. 20, 2008, while visiting his family in the United States. He was predeceased by his wife, June, in 1998. He is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Kimberly Gibson of Fair Haven, and Christopher J. Gibson of England; and two grandchildren. Arrangements were by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.

Ruth E. Connelly
      Mrs. Connelly, 78, of Oceanport, died Aug. 22, 2008. She and her husband were retired owners and operators of Adams Memorial Home, Red Bank. Prior to that, she was a flight attendant with Eastern Airlines, and was also employed at RCA, Princeton, and Monmouth University, West Long Branch. She was predeceased by a brother, Charles R. Eckert; and two sisters, Shirley A.
