Students' artwork at library in October
Matawan Public Library, 165 Main St., is displaying artwork by students of Monmouth County Arts High School during October.
The arts program is in its fifth year and offers gifted and talented students the chance to take classes in dance, vocal music, acting and other subjects. Local students exhibiting at the library are: Angela Anzano, Leighann Bosler and Samantha Obreiter, Keyport High School; Lauren Bartlow, Monmouth Regional High School, Tinton Falls; Margaret Gibbon, Jessica Redmond and Elizabeth Stallmeyer, Middletown High School South; and Rebecca Lino, St. Mary's School, New Monmouth section of Middletown.
Library hours are 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday and Friday; and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call the arts and education center at 732-566-2787.
