Shredding event in Red Bank Nov. 15
      Monmouth County Freeholders and the borough of Red Bank will offer a papershredding event 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Red Bank Recycling Yard, West Sunset Avenue. All paper will be shredded on location at the free service for county residents. Metals and binder clips must be removed, and attendees shouldn't bring more than 100 pounds of paper per person.

      Monmouth County Regional Health Commission No. 1 has announced its flu/pneumonia vaccine clinics for 2008. A clinic will be held 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 27 at Jersey Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross, West Park Avenue, Tinton Falls.

Food allergy support group cancels party
      Due to scheduling conflicts, the Food Allergy Support Group of Monmouth County has canceled its Halloween party for this year. Its next meeting will be 7:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at the new office of the group's medical adviser, Dr. Tina Zecca, 200 White Road, Suite 205, Little Silver. The group will no longer meet on Route 35, Middletown.
