The annual Oktoberfest at St. James Episcopal Church, 69 Broad St., Eatontown, will be 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 25. The event will feature a German lunch, crafts, a food table, used and new table, and raffle for tickets to see Tony Bennett at Count Basie Theatre, Red Bank. Students at Ranney Middle and Upper School, Tinton Falls, organized a "green" dress-down day in conjunction with the fall convocation on Oct. 7 and raised $2,000 for Clean Ocean Action and The New York Times' Neediest Cases fund. The fundraiser was sponsored by the school's Environmental Students Taking Action (ESTA) Club.

In exchange for a small donation, students were permitted to forgo wearing their uniforms for the day in favor of allgreen attire. ESTA officers presented the check to the convocation's keynote speaker, Andrew Revkin, reporter for The New York Times.

St. Leo the Great School, 550 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft section of Middletown, will hold its first antiques and collectibles show 4-9 p.m. Nov. 7 and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 8. Featured will be 30 dealers from several Northeast states as well as several dealers from the now-discontinued Shrewsbury Corners Antique Show. Appraisers will provide verbal appraisals at $5 per item. Luncheon will be available. Admission is $5, or $4 with a show card or any ad. All proceeds will benefit the school. Kramer Portraits, Red Bank, is holding its second annual fundraiser for Holiday Express through Nov. 15. Individuals donating $250 or more to the nonprofit will qualify for a private session and an 8- by 10-inch portrait. The Garden Club R.F.D. will again take part in the annual holiday exhibition at the Monmouth Museum, Brookdale Community College, Lincroft. The "Celestial Holiday" exhibition will explore the wonders of outer space in trees decorated by local garden clubs and the Friends of the Museum. The exhibit will run Nov. 23- Jan. 4.

The club's tree theme is stars, and the committee has been busy since August designing and constructing ornaments. Due to scheduling conflicts, the Food Allergy Support Group of Monmouth County has canceled its Halloween party for this year.
