Counseling, programs at library in November

Monmouth County Library Headquarters and all branches wish to inform the community the branches will be closed Nov. 11 and 27.

The Eastern Branch of the Monmouth County Library, 1001 Route 35, Shrewsbury, will offer confidential counseling from SCORE counselors for owners and would-be owners of small businesses Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Saturday mornings. Appointments are required for the free service and may be made by calling the library.

The Small Book Club will discuss "The Ghost at the Table: A Novel" by Suzanne Berne 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 12. Copies are available at the circulation desk. Volunteers from State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) will answer questions on health insurance and Medicare/Medicaid 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 18.

The New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services Foster and Adoptive Parents will present "Open Your Heart and Your Home: Information Session on Foster and Adoptive Parenting," 10 a.m. Nov. 21. The Peckmore Players will present a flute concert of holiday songs 2:30 p.m. Nov. 23. Admission is free with a ticket only, and tickets may be picked beginning Nov. 16.
