Matthew F. Ferrigno
Mr. Ferrigno, 86, of Tinton Falls, died Nov. 9, 2008, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was a conservation officer in the law enforcement unit of the state of New Jersey Division of Fish and Game, retiring as a captain after 36 years. He was predeceased by a son, Michael R. Ferrigno, in 1999; an infant daughter, MaryEllyn, in 1956; two brothers, A. Albert and Michael; and two sisters, Anne Pignataro and Jennie LoPresti. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Teresa; two daughters and sons-inlaw, Chrissy and Jim Mellaci of Eatontown, and Maryellen and Steve McCarthy, of West Long Branch; a son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Lisa Ferrigno of Tinton Falls; a sister, Laura Roussell of Ocean; a brother, Fred of Ocean View; and eight grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Interment was at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank.
