The Concordia Chorale will present the Christmas portion of the "Messiah" at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 8, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 150 River Road, Red Bank. Guest soloists will be David Kellett and Anne McKenna. The performance will be conducted by Cynthia Springsteen with John Balme accompanying. The performance is given as a Christmas gift to the church's Women's Club to benefit the church's social programs. The performance is open to the general public. A good will offering will be taken. The New Jersey Chamber Singers will host a "Messiah Sing" Dec. 5 at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, Beach Haven. A Kaleidoscope of Carols will be performed at 3 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Church in Brielle, Brielle, at 4 p.m., Dec. 13 at All Saints Episcopal Church, Bay Head, at 3 p.m. Dec. 14 at St. Uriel's Church, Sea Girt. The holiday program explores a vast array of carols, both old and new, including composers such as Bruckner, Whitacre, Mendelssohn, and Britten. Monmouth Players presents Herb Gardner's comic drama "Conversations With My Father" Dec. 5, 6, 12 and 13 at 8:15 p.m. and Dec. 7 and 14 at 2 p.m. at the Navesink Library Theater at the corner of Sears and Monmouth Avenues in the Navesink section of Middletown. Monmouth University in West Long Branch will present its annual Senior Art Exhibition Dec. 5-12, in the Rotary Ice House Gallery. An opening reception will be held 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5. The exhibition displays works by senior art students Nicole Jones, James Guerra, Dustin Todd, Megan DiMicco, Beau Champney and Chris Parilla.
