B'nai Israel to host interfaith dialogue RUMSON - A founder of Oz V'Shalom/Netivot Shalom and Kabillat Yedidya will discuss "Interfaith Dialogue in the Holy Land" March 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Congregation B'nai Israel in Rumson. Dr. DeborahWeissman's discussion will examine some of the following questions: All around the world, religion is perceived as a factor stimulating violent conflicts. Can religion also be a force for peace?What have been the experiences of Jews, Christians andMuslims engaged in dialogue for peace-building in the Middle East? Congregation B'nai Israel, 171 Ridge Road, will also have Purim celebrations, beginning March 16 with a Purim Carni- val. The carnival is open to the community and will run from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and will feature many booths, games, food and prizes for kids as well as adults. There will be a special magic show for kids and a chance auction for adults.Aselection of student made ceramic gifts will also be available and proceeds from their sale will benefit the charity ZIV Tzedakah Fund. The celebration will continue March 20 with a Gan parade in themorning and services and a costume parade for all at 6 p.m. On March 21, a full Megillah reading will take place from 9 to 10:30 a.m. followed by another Gan parade.
