Read Across America Day
The Red Bank Primary School joined millions of schools across the country in celebrating the 10th annual Read Across America Day March 3. Volunteers from the community, like Doris Mahoney reading to a kindergarten student, helped mark the birthday of beloved children's book author Theodor Geisel, known affectionately as Dr. Seuss. Kindergartner Michael Horowitz, 5, wears the "Cat in the Hat" hat he made in class.
