Two Rivers Food &Wine Tasting to benefit Lunch Break

Lunch Break, a nonprofit that provides hot meals and other critical assistance to people in need, will be the beneficiary of the Red Bank Rotary's eighth annual Two Rivers Food and Wine Tasting fundraiser, to be held onMonday,April 14, 6-9 p.m., at Branches in West Long Branch.

Each year, approximately 350 people enjoy food and wine from many of central New Jersey's finest dining establishments at the annual event. Lunch Break was founded 25 years ago as Monmouth County's first soup kitchen and has become one of Red Bank'smost important social service agencies.

In addition to providing free hot lunches for approximately 2,100 people a month, Lunch Break provides more than 40 grocery baskets bimonthly, clothing to over 800 families annually, emergency supplies for children, facility space for health services, referrals to other social service agencies and professional counseling.

Tickets to the event are $65.
