Shannyn celebrates 3rd birthday

RED BANK - The Red Bank Elks recently hosted a birthday party for their 2007 Poster Child Shannyn Craig, who turned 3 years old.

Shortly after birth, Shannyn was diagnosed with a brain malformation and as a result of her condition, she is affected by cerebral palsy and blindness.

The Elks presented her with a surfer bath chair that will secure her and allow her to enjoy the water, her favorite thing, and a positioning chair that will give her proper positioning and safety.

Shannyn is unable to eat by mouth and is fed through a tube in her stomach. She receives physical therapy three times a week as well as occupational and speech therapy twice a week.
