Sustainable Communities event set for May 13

The Red Bank Environmental Commission (RBEC) is hosting a road show by the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions (ANJEC) to cover the topic of "Sustainable Communities- MunicipalActions to Foster Sustainability."

The road show will discuss approaches and available resources that can help reduce a town's carbon footprint,ways to foster sustainability throughmunicipal policies, planning, land use decisions and outreach activities. The event will take place May 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the council chambers at Red Bank Borough Hall, 90Monmouth St.

Everyone is welcome. There is an open enrollment, so the RBEC is asking that the invitation be passed along to anyone interested in attending.
