54th R.B. Sidewalk Sale this weekend

RED BANK - Get ready for the annual shopping pilgrimage to Red Bank: the 54th annual Sidewalk Sale will take place in the downtown on July 25, 26 and 27.

According to Red Bank RiverCenter, which produces the event, the annual sidewalk sale is shaping up to be the best ever, with clearance items and bargains at popular Red Bank stores. Shoppers can take a break and have lunch or dinner at one of the many restaurants and eateries in town.

Don't worry about getting back to feed the parking meter - parking is free all weekend long.

Visitors to Red Bank will also enjoy free musical performances by StreetLife performers on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. and Saturday 7-10 p.m.

The Sidewalk Sale is known for the proliferation of tables overflowing with reduced price items throughout the business district stretching to Broad, Monmouth, White, West Front, Mechanic and Front streets, English Plaza and Bridge Avenue.

Hours of the sale are Friday, July 25, and Saturday, July 26, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, July 27, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
