Registration under way for Navesink Challenge

The Jersey Shore Running Club (JSRC), the Middletown Youth Athletic Association (MYAA) and Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Monmouth County will host the eighth annual Navesink Challenge Nov. 30 at Bodman Park, Middletown. Registration is $22 before Nov. 1, $27 from Nov. 1-21, and $30 thereafter.

Proceeds benefit MYAA and Habitat for Humanity. The Challenge includes two races, a challenging 15K run at 10 a.m., and a 5K run/walk at 10:10 a.m. Various prizes will be awarded, as well as random prizes and a grand prize drawing. A post-race party will be hosted by Outback Steakhouse of Middletown.
