Medical center to host baby shower Nov. 15

Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, will host a baby shower for expectant or prospectiveRiverviewparents 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 15.

The free event will feature an educational session featuring a panel discussion on "Childbirth: Everything You Want to Know, But Are Afraid to Ask" by Sagar Patel, M.D., obstetrician and gynecologist, and "Bringing Home Baby" by Jennifer Engel, M.D., board-certified pediatrician. There will also be a tea and tea sandwiches, tours, and various vendors. Registration is required.

The stroke center at Riverview will host stroke support group meetings 3 p.m. Dec. 9, Jan. 13, Feb. 10, March 10 and April 14 at the first floor administrative conference room.
