West side tree lighting Dec. 6

The Westside Community Group will hold its traditional Holiday Festivities and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 6, 4-5 p.m.

The events will take place at Westside Park at the corner of Shrewsbury Avenue and Drs. James Parker Boulevard in Red Bank. In addition to the tree lighting, there will be caroling by local children, including students from the Westside Christian Academy. To highlight the festivities, Santa will arrive on a fire truck.

Refreshments, including candy canes, hot cocoa and holiday cookies, will be served. All are welcome to attend.
