Red Cross baby-sitters program Dec. 6, 7

The Jersey Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross is offering a babysitter's training program for girls and boys ages 11-15. The two-day course will be offered 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 6 and 7 at the headquarters, 1540 W. Park Ave., Tinton Falls.

Topics include basic first aid, how to properly hold and feed a child, and how to monitor safe play and actively engage a child. All courses are taught by an authorized Red Cross instructor. Fee is $65.
