Janice J. Mahoney

Mrs. Mahoney, 71, of, Holmdel died Nov. 29, 2008, at the Laurel Bay Nursing Home, Keansburg. She was an administrator at Discovery House, Marlboro, for 10 years, retiring in 2000. She was predeceased by two brothers, John and Harry Balaney; and a sister, Grace Grabowski. She is survived by two sons and one daughterin law, Thomas P. Mahoney Jr. of Holmdel, and Sean and Susan Mahoney of Lancaster, Calif.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Anne Mahoney and Kevin Dunning of Mount Laurel, and Jerilynne and David Ragoonanan of Flanders; and eight grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, Matawan. Interment was at St. Gabriel's Cemetery, Marlboro. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
