Audubon bird walk at Sandy Hook Feb. 7

Monmouth County Audubon Society will hold a bird walk 10 a.m. Feb. 7 at Sandy Hook. Attendees should meet at the visitors center.

Field trip leader will be Linda Mack, past Audubon president. Birds that may be seen include snow buntings, northern harriers, warblers and long-tailed ducks. Attendees should dress appropriately for cold temperatures and windy conditions, and bring binoculars are essential. A field guide is also helpful. The walk is free and registration is not required.
