HABcore, Red Bank, will host a "Gold Rush" fund-raising party 7 p.m. Feb. 19 at The Woman's Club of Red Bank, 164 Broad St.

Attendees may bring old, unwanted or broken jewelry — white and yellow gold or platinum— to be assessed by a representative from Ashford & Grace Fine Jewelers, and paid in cash. Pieces, single earrings, broken clasps are OK. The representative will also check if attendees are unsure if items are gold, and then donate partial proceeds to HABcore. Refreshments will be served. The nonprofit HABcore provides housing and supportive services to low-income persons in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
