            Iappreciate the response of Richard Hall to my previous letter. Our legislators and our New Jersey residents are missing the lesson of history. Free enterprise is the freedom of people and private businesses to operate competitively for profit with minimal government regulation.

      Tell ASIG New Jersey's ocean is not for sale
            Take enough dirt, sediment, and other building materials to fill 10 Empire State buildings. The Atlantic Sea Island Group (ASIG) wants to create an island with this material to be used for a facility to offload, store, and process liquefied natural gas (LNG) only 19.5 miles off the coast of Sea Bright.

            In his reply to the editor regarding the COAH legislation, Richard Hall makes the argument that it is the failure of the free market system that required the government to create legislation to make housing affordable.

      Signage needed to promote Red Bank's parking
            Red Bank has a great iceboat symbol logo, it also has available parking; however, the parking message is not easily available to the visitor. On every street corner driving into Red Bank, there should be uniform signage with the ice boat logo — municipal parking — with an arrow directing to either White Street and/or the east side parking area.
