Apply now for Freedom Alliance Scholarships
      The Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund, Dulles, Va., is now accepting applications for its Freedom Alliance Scholarship. Deadline to apply is July 31. The scholarships are for children of U.S. service members who have been killed or permanently disabled in an operational mission or training accident. Students who may qualify are encouraged to apply early.

Monmouth County Park System to offer free activities during March
      Monmouth County Park System is offering free activities during March, beginning with "Music Man Rich Marzec," 1-3 p.m. March 1 at Longstreet Farm, Longstreet Road, Holmdel. He will perform tunes from the turn-of-the-century. "Carnivorous Plants" will be 10-11 a.m. March 7 and 8 at Manasquan Reservoir Environmental Center, Georgia Tavern Road, Howell.
