The Mental Health Association of Monmouth County will sponsor a program on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) 7:30- 9 p.m. March 5 at the Eatontown Library, 55 Broad St.

Dr. Carolyn Matflerd, a psychiatrist in private practice, will present the program, which is free and open to the public.

PTSD is an anxiety disorder that some people experience after seeing or living through a dangerous event. The workshop will discuss who gets PTSD, symptoms, risk factors and treatment options.
