Mrs. Smith, 81, of Red Bank, died Feb. 19, 2009, at Chapin Hill Nursing Home, Red Bank, N.J. She was a retired secretary at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, where she was employed for more than 20 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Smith, in 1999; and a sister, Fannie Bertoncin. She is survived by a daughter and sonin law, Susan and Steven Papp of Ocean; a brother, John Nucci of Long Branch; and two grandchildren. Interment was at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by Braun Funeral Home, Eatontown.
